Has anybody fitted a MRA screen to a 1100gs? If so what do you think, is it much better than standard regards buffeting etc

Yes and yes! I'm tall, and my bike with its original screen was almost unrideable with the horrendous buffeting. It amazed me that anyone could design a screen that was so bad. I fitted an MRA and it was a massive improvement. Not perfect because there is still some buffeting, but it is very mild compared with the original. Doubtless someone of shorter stature would find it to be even better.

Yes

Just fitted one, works a treat far better than standard.

The adjustability down for more summer breeze is good an all season screen

Good quality build too

Got one on mine too, less wind blast and more protection from the elements generally.

Easy to fit and a fair amount of adjustment so you can get it right for you, on the down side I think the original screen looks better but it's nowhere near as practical for daily use in all weathers.

Cheers guys just what I wanted to hear look like I need to get one ordered.:clap

A lot of after market stuff is disappointing and in the long term the week link on the bike however the MRA screen is great improvement, just spend some time to adjust it so that it works for you.

I`m 5` 10" and the 1100 with an MRA is the best screen set up I have ever experienced. No buffeting at all, even with the peaked Tour X.

I'm 6ft 8ins tall with a longish body and find the MRA somewhat better than the awful standard screen. I still have some buffeting with the screen at full extension but I reckon if the MRA was 2 inches longer it would be gone...so I may have to investigate the addition of a third, small sub screen yet...

Yep - huge improvement over the stock screen.
