Advice for GSA on a trailer

Box Trailer

Need some advice for using a box trailer
I have a box trailer which is 8' x 4' x 5' (5 foot headroom)
When I put my GS in which has an adventure screen fitted I only have 3 inches of space to the roof
If I tie it down using the front fork yoke/paralever the front suspension will rise up when I hit any road bumps
My question is how much will it rise, am I going to smash the screen into roof? :nenau
Can I restrict this rise using some lose straps on the bars?
I could remove the screen then the mirrors would give me 5 inches of space but I would prefer to leave everythig in place
Any advice would be much appreciated :thumb2

Do not tie down using the handlebars (they can move) or the crash bars (not designed for this).

At the front, tie off the fork crown either side. At the rear, tie off the frame - I use the frame at the pillion footpegs. No need for more than 4 straps, but must be ratchet straps.

See photo. This method has served me well for many '000 miles, some pretty bumpy.

That's what I do:thumb2

Works like a dream:bounce1
