Hey, all

I'm in London for a few days, and while my bike is pretty well immobilized, I'd really rather have it in a garage after reading how common bike thefts are around these parts. Do any of you guys know of such a place?

Cheers,
Garrett

....you should suggest a location, Londons a big place.

I've used The NCP in Brewer St Soho a lot and would be happy to leave my bike there

There are hundreds (if not thousands) of motorcycles in London; they are not all stolen.

The sensible advice is always the same. Whether you leave it in a carpark (like an NCP or a hotel) or on the street, try to physically chain the bike to something robust. This will avoid (or at least hinder) a thief just lifting your motorbike up and carting it off. For real belt and braces, chain it to something and use a bike cover, if you can be bothered. The same advice would apply in Inverness, Portsmouth, Lower Piddle, Great Yarmouth or anywhere really.

You are only here for a few days, you'll be fine. If not, salve your distress at having your bike stolen by thinking that your loss has saved someone else having their awesome steed lifted from its stable.... As that's what happens in that there bad London and return home vowing to never venture anywhere again.

Haha, I like your style. Alright, I'll continue on my journey worry-free. Cheers
