I have a new Shoie Neotec 3. I clean the visor daily on trips but I always notice its slightly foggy and not as clear as when I bought it. I am trying to clean the visor and also remove the pinlok but am worried once I do that I'll never get it back to what it was when fitted originally. Any advice?

Do not remove it daily.
If you remove it, do not use aggressive products on it or you'll ruin it. And you have to let it dry A LOT (one full night at least) before putting it back on the visor.

Just take it off, clean it both sides with water and a microfibre cloth, do the same thing to the visor and put it all back in place.

Old video but still actual. Do not do what I did and dry the insert with cloth. Left marks on the insert.

removing and reinstalling the pinlock is easy
cleaning it is a different ball game as they scratch so very easily

I just run mine under the tap and then leave to dry for a long time

Cleaning the Pinlock, shouldn’t be necessary too often and is anyway, more likely to end with scratches.

With a good seal *, there should be little to no misting or foggy view. Are you sure you haven’t possibly scratched (even very lightly) the inner (face side) of the Pinlock?

* I’d start by checking there.

Agree with Wapping.
I went through the same "discovery" by ruining a Pinlock.

Doesn't seal well, or you trap moisture inside and fogs up a tiny bit. Hence: let it dry a lot.

I have to admit, I also clean my visors on a semi-annual basis :D :D :D

During a downpour rain water got in between the visor and middle of the insert. No choice but taking it off and clean it.

We have quite hard water, which leaves streaks on everything, so I use bottled water and a tiny drop of baby shampoo to clean my Shoei visor and Pinlock insert. Just dab the insert dry with a window cleaning micro fibre cloth and leave it overnight before reinserting.
Once the Pinlock is back in the visor, I check it is sealed correctly by trying to poke a sliver of a postit note between the visor and the seal. Adjusting as nesessary.
