Hi,
My battery is knackered on my 2004 1200GS. I have read up on the searches and I am more confused when I started.
Not surprised that the battery did die after the bad winter we have had and not being able to get it out of the shed for a couple of months due to the ice.
So I have searched and have been thinking of one of these :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GENUINE-YUASA-YTX14-BS-MOTORBIKE-QUAD-JETSKI-BATTERY-/110572050745?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item19be9b9939
Posts that I have read state that a normal battery is more resistant to being left with no trickle charge than a AGM battery which needs to be topped up at all times and as the bike is kept in a shed with no electricity I was thinking that a normal battery would be a more viable option.
Or, should I stick to an AGM battery and spend a little more and get one of these?

Any help appreciated.
