Afternoon All
Hoping for some advice. Got a 94 1100GS, Last year had the tank changed to a metal one from the original plastic and ever since that was done the fuel gauge hasn’t worked it just stays on full. Steve Trehern at Rainbow Workshop (highly recommended ) who changed the tank over for me has had it back and checked the mechanism and it all works fine so I’ve just been judging things on the trip. However further developments now as the combined fuel gauge / clock / temp gauge now flickers when the bike is started and the temp gauge is only working intermittently and then coming home from work tonight the bike was stuttering and almost cutting out. Filled with fuel this morning so it ain’t fuel related. I’m thinking electrical? Any ideas on where too look first? It’s used daily as a commuter so it needs to be right.
Cheers All
