Have you tried a bike breaker ?
I have one that will fit a 2010 
It's a genuine OE item
Actually it will fit any GS from 2005 - 2012 I bought it a couple of months ago to fit to the GS for a nav project, but it didnt work
it has scratches where the amps clamp went
I can get actual piccys up tommorow if you want

I’ll have a dig in my Aladdins cave, I might have my old Migsel GPS clamping bracket for those tubular nav mounting bars somewhere.

I can’t promise anything, but I recall seeing the bugger a while back amongst all the stuff I hoard. I’m off mountain biking at Ten for a few hours of Cardio, trails will be muddy. When I get back and wash the bike I’ll see what I can find and post a pic.

Its the OE item so just clips very snugly round the existing hoop, ( you may need longer fixings (i cant remember))
not sure how much it cost new , but it wasn't cheap lol

First off thanks for the pics, as I’ve never fitted one before I’m trying to figure out how, and when you say “longer fixing” d’you mean bolts
