This any good?

Like the idea of a brighter back light. If this is no good what's the best article to buy?

Thanks

Tony :)

Nippy Normans do a similar light with built in error code protection (it lies to it to make it think its a bulb). Had one on my 06 for 18 months no probs. End of blown bulb problems....period.

Curiously most of my riding buddies don't like being behind me in the dark because they say my (standard) back light is blindingly bright as it is? I've noticed on my garage door when I appply the brake, the brake light beam is like a focused torch beam rather than a bright flood of light???

NN version all the way ...

+1 for the NN version ...

+2 for NNs service!!!

I changed the tail light of my 2006 12GSA for a 'design' model when NN released it, I'd been blowing rear bulbs (due to vibration of the tail light unit) regularly, so wanted a LED version.

Installs to the bulb socket (so reversible easily), solid mounting, very bright, nice design and most importantly does fool the canbus into thinking its a bulb, so no warnings.

After 18 months installed, I noticed one evening that one of the strips of LEDs had given up, surmising that it must be a fault in the board or paths (not a single LED fault), I dropped NN a line about replacement ... they returned the email overnight, stating that its guaranteed for life and too return the item.

I returned the old unit and by return of post got a brand new board fully packaged, fitted again in 10mins and working like a champ again ...

Design model ...

My fault after 18 months ...

So, are they bright, yes (especially as I went for the indicator brake lights as well!) ... I bl**dy hope so, will move some of the tailgaters away on the M4 ... would I buy from eBay, maybe, but what about return and do you want a fault light on the dash, I don't, I might miss something important ...

... buy from NN, definitely without hesitation ...

HIDs up front, NN LEDs out back ... great combination!
