advice wanted .repaint engine 1200gs

hi there. just sold by r1, bought an 04 r1200gs which sould be fun, only one problem paint on engine is flaking any advice on best paint for the job/which is better brush or spray . cheers zippy

Sperex

I used a black spray paint called Sperex on the iron cylinder and head of an old Panther motorcycle. It runs pretty hot, but the paint is still perfect after 10 years. I think Sperex also do a silver colour. Try google for suppliers.
