Got a 1150 but want to change it for a 1200/1200adv my problem is and this is where i need the advice, How do i convince my wife its a great idea? Want to do this fairly soon, so any help would be most welcome. I am on the verge of offering her children as in conception not buying. Cheers all.

Show her the above posts from Timolgra and Packer and tell her that if you keep your slow, heavy and asthmatic old 1150, you'll inevitably be lumped in with Luddites like those two. If that doesn't convince her, nothing will and you're doomed to being second best.

Thanks guys, But i think i will have to resort to the telling her i love her and buying some expensive present or maybe a tropical holiday, I feel bribery is my only option or convince her that the 1200 is more comfortable for her on long touring holidays.Cheers.
