Well you got my bike in your first three photos you posted and me in the third photo of the following two posts... Thought my bike would sneak in...:Motomartin

Good oh!!!! Glad I managed to achieve something with la camera - only took me 3 hours to suss out re-size/compressing etc!! :clap

Well Done Keith.

I had to learn that recently .

Anyway, a great day I thinks; cheers Mike for putting us onto that.

Nice to meet a few more Tossers, and the more familiar one's to me, and hope to see you all again soon. :thumb2

Yes...it took me a while  simply because the work laptop is constrained by administrator rights, so I can't really do alot on it :blast

However, think I've got is sussed now.

Likewise, good to meet a few more folk :clap

I will try and find how much the day made, Next one maybe mothers day at Wooton Bassett, a day not to miss.

Going to say it again, the ride was unorganised, there were acidents waiting to happen... So I'll be giving future rides like this a miss, but may turn up and meet the good people though...:)

so your going to travel 140 + miles to Wotton not to talk to anyone ! I think you need to re think the reason to be on here.

well sorry to say........

I took my brother in law with me, a novice rider himself, and he said how well everyone behaved , and loved how the police and the support riders were whizzing down the outside and constantly blocking roads and exits in order to give us all safe passage and minimize any potential hazards.

Personally i think if you are feeling unsafe in rides like this, i feel you need to source additional training to increase your skillset, (click the link)i found no reason to feel under pressure or in danger, far from it.
I found it totally enjoyable and totally pleasureable.

I wish to give a big thumbs up and thankyou to all the un-named,un-paid support riders, who made the event pass off without any problems or accidents, well done lads:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

+1 to all of that, and add my thanks to the cops and support riders for making it easy for everyone involved. :cool

I do quite a few of these sorts of rides a year and can understand what Billythebiker is saying but as ever it's up to each rider to ensure their own safety. In these sorts of situations I prefer to ride on my own rather than part of a sub group. I can set my own speed, not be concerned if anyone gets lost an if I'm not comfortable with the adjacent riders I can change position as and when I please, and you can usually join up with any mates your with when you stop.

Oh and I can't see any photos with me or my bike in them.

But to have mates you have to talk !! sorry about the lack of bike pics:blast

I talk..don't you worry about that... And if you think the way people were getting impatient and over and under taking (why they were in a rush fcuk knows!) in a large group is safe without any pre-ride instruction is good..enjoy. I ride in groups about 3-4 times a year (medium to large) we follow the same rules on each ride and everyone is reminded of those rules prior to departure... Always feel safe and confident.. People on that ride didn't even follow the simple staggered formation...thought everyone with a brain cell knows that one!

The mothers day run, I already have hotel booked...have done for weeks..
