For me , I'd rather play with my children after returning home ....rather than lubricating chains! So I'm happy with the GS.
...................... Now if BMW made a sub 10k boxer twin GS with no thrills i'd have had one like a shot... but at £13-17k i'm out....
Lines become long and smooth, I find the bike follows my eyes with a sort of weighty momentum like the tail of a stunt kite, does that make sense ?!!

I'm disturbed that you're showing thespian signs, using elaborate and fancy examples - Beware its a slippery slope, next you'll joining your local amateur dramatics society, then you'll be describing yourself as an actor and before you know it you'll be claiming that some random bloke that brushed past you in a railway station rammed three fingers up your arse![]()

Really?

9,000 miles, 150bhp and I've adjusted/cleaned my chain, oh, at least three times. Other than that a quick squirt of lube once a week (takes all of two minutes).
Why do people bang on about how crap chains are, I really don't get it?
Was the last chain driven bike they rode back in the 80's or something 'cos they've come on shed loads since then.
Oh, and if I were you and still had kids at home I'd relish any excuse to escape into the garage.....................
Here's a picture of some pretty chains for you as I know how much you like pictures

I would love to have one of these but...
Closer inspection shows a difference between all the pictures - is it round, oval, trapezoid or photoshopped? Black cover over cat or not?
And their phonetic spelling !isa makin me madda!"

....Why do they insist on mounting it so steeply too when a travel bike is going to be fitted with luggage. Lower would be better and it's no issue in water unless the rider lets the engine die.
