Has anyone used the YSS brand of suspension being sold by Firefox Racing, if so, any feedback would be welcome???

YSS - no idea if good, bad or indifferent. I'm am liking :D the new Wilbers WESA shocks fitted last week to my 2010 GS by Revs Racing in Halesowen. 800 miles ridden since then and I can safely say they have transformed the bike; not too difficult given the generally crap quality of OEM BMW shocks especially after 34k (rear) and 66k (front). The rear having been previously replaced under warranty at 32k because it had failed.

You were lucky to get it done under warranty as they are only normally covered until 30.000 miles, mine was replaced at about 29.650 miles.

To be fair I had complained and told my local dealer the shock was on its way out after its 18k service. Another year or so's riding and I reminded them of this so the claim was successful.

I had one fitted to the front of my 1100 and have done 42K miles with no problems. They also reconditioned my rear ohlins at the same time and likewise no problems. They were a bit disorganised in the office but I wasn't to worried about that and happy to recommend :thumby:

Is that a ride height adjuster? Looks a nice bit of kit, sprung for your weight and use?

That height (preload) adjuster looks awkward to get to. Can it be turned 90 degrees for easier access?
I thought the same and it is a little tricky to get it turned.
It does rotate up and down but my mechanic told me that the shock can only be mounted in one position so I'll have to live with it.
I thought I had ordered the external one that is on a line.
