Anyone know if there is any difference between the 2008 Aikido Desert jacket and the 2009 Desert Evo. I dont see any thing in the description of the ones for sale. Locky.

ok its the Akito jacket, i really couldnt give a shit if its spelt wrong, if you do know something about any difference could you let me know. Locky.

dunno but the desert trousers are really waterproof, cant recomend em enough,,,
post how you get on with the jacket if you get one,,,,
im off to J an B,s this weekend, ill av a look if no one answers

I find the jacket a bit "fussy" with two zips and velcro, but it is good apart from that.

Has anyone found any braces that will fit the loops fitted to the trousers?

Not sure if I have the evo or not.

I will more than likely toss the waterproof liner and go with an over the top rain jacket, not real fussed in the striping everything off on the side of the road to put in waterproof liners. Locky.

yes, i just got normal uns,. metal fastenings, off ebay,, fitted fine

Doesn't seem to be any differance in them. I'd say it's pritty much the same jacket just renamed from sale in a new year.

I have the Desert suit and love it. Cann't fault it other then if you intend to wear Jeans or anything else under it go a size bigger then you would in the pants for comfort. :thumb
