ok dont get to excited yet as i dont have the bike yet ,have agreed to buy it but wont get it for a week or two , as far as style of build goes it will be what i can scrounge ,find or make ,budget for the build is £650 max to in clude everything . if it looks ok if and when i get it near finishe i may splash a bit on the paint .
its never going to win any prizes(if it gets finished ,it is a running bike at the moment) i dont have the mechanical ability of rob farmer or kenny or a lot of others in this section ,or the fabrication skills of my mate MARK71 top fabricator .
remeber dogbytes brilliant build ,well forget that im not saying what style as there only seems to be about two or three styles .
and for david nimrod it is allready a project bike so were not pulling apart a nice std bike ,as i agree with him i like a nice std bmw.

so ii will be placing ads for bits and pieces and as usuall asking advice .....................:thumb

any suggestions or ides welcome as are any parts you have for sale , its currently running a 21 inch front wheel may look for a smaller wheel as i want to put on an old firestone or coker tyre

So that'd be a Mono then...

and have no parts for them at all :D

You're a bit stuck with Monos. Apart from taking the subframe off if you don't want to spend a packet you're stuck with the wheels and forks. So that will be yet another Mono with a cut down seat and subframe - Should cost 50p to do and then sell it for £10,000

Variation on a well, well trodden theme

Most end up like this. Stupid subframe, cheapo exhausts etc

The last twin shock was 84 but yours could be fitted with a twin shock sub frame and swinging arm. It'll give you a lot more options for customising if it is.

it has been i think ill try and post a picture you will know the bike here you go .

Oh dear oh dear what has happened here then :Friday oh well at least it can only improve. What are you doing a bobber style ?

I'm betting it will back up for sale after Christmas :blast

Keeps you off the bad streets of lough ton I suppose, have fun in that shed

For a moment there Dave my heart went all pitter patter as I thought you were going to have my old one off Peepingtom and start hacking it to pieces. Not that it would be any of my business you understand...but....oh well, you know! (it would have made me weep just a little).
