I am not after performance enhancement as I probably will never be exploiting the full potential of the standard Rallye Sport.
The reason for exhaust upgrade is to have the beautiful noise
And probably vanity is in play as well.
If you can ignore the asthetics, put on the Akra headers (plenty of s/hand around) keep the std can and get the bike hilltopped. you will have more noise and much smoother running and more mpg all for the same price as an Akra can.
No implications at all, according to my dealer.
This is gonna sound a bit strange. Is there any chance a Mod could remove my post with the 2 pictures of the black GS.

I'm comparing Akra end-cans with Any other end can. There is simply negligible difference in one to another. You could replace the can with a length of non-perforated tube, and not need additional fuelling. Everyone loves "akrapovic" labels, but Scorpion, Two-Brothers, Quill etc offer much better value for money.
I don't dispute that a full aftermarket exhaust will require some form of fuel augmentation - so not sure where you get that idea? Perhaps you had been drinking?

ive got the full Ti Akra...But i do think the best looking can on the LC and the best sounding is the standard can 
its the cheap finish thats shite ..if i have another LC i will decat the headers and ceramic coat the whole lot black with a carbon tip.. ive got a brand new full standard system ready and waiting

£760 for euro 4 Akras 
Which is pretty much what I thought so I've thrown caution to the wind and fitted my Euro 3 Akra to my Euro 4 bike today, sounds good too, not sure if I'm fitting the Akra headers to this one I'll put a few miles on it and see if I can live without them.

I have euro4 bike, I too want value for money, yep tight arse. Buy a good low milage used can from eBay or off here, that's what i did and paid £400

Now- if you are looking for an aftermarket can that looks good (before you get it stickered-up) that is the one.
Many would prefer to see "Akrapovic" on their awesome "Triple black"
(Not so sure about the top box - looks way too big.)
