ALARM FOBS ???

Then you forget to remove key whilst paying or fuel and bike gets nicked and guess what your not insured because you left key on the bike.

Er, well yes, of course you are not insured if you leave the key in.

The solution is to take it out when you leave the bike. It's not rocket science...

My insurers covered bike knowing factory alarm is fitted if I start deactivating it for practical reasons created because I don't have fob I put any theft claim at risk.

The only way forward is to have said FOB and not allow BMW to fob us off.
Need to annoy/pressure dealers/ BMW as it is clearly not FIT FOR PURPOSE as mentioned by BIKERKING.

Alarm with no fob is NO good!

Parked up in Glasgow city centre tonite could I fuk as like get the cover on (prying eyes) without setting the alarm off. Had to chock rear wheel to stop it rocking. What a pain arse this alarm is ignition on ignition off the switch will be fucked within two years. It's just not a practical system to use day to day.

Does anybody know if a system fitted to the bike has the means to receive a signal from fob unit?

Fobbed off

Not fit for purpose
