I’ve just got an r1250r. 2023 se model. There’s no alarm on it. Has anyone got one? I’m aware that an alarm off most BMW models around that year would probably work. Thanks. JJH

Why bother? The factory fit one I had on my GS was rubbish, it was so bad the insurers didn't even list it in their drop down menu as it wasn't Thathem approved?
You'd be better IMO getting a decent disc lock like an Oxford Boss and putting it through the rear disc and something like this through the front disc which at 110db is louder than many more expensive ones.

You’re probley right. But if there’s one going at the right price I’ll take it. Also I think insurance companies do accept them now. If I can’t get one second hand I’ll probably buy a new one. JJH
