I'm LHR to Seattle then on to Anch. doing the Dalton then AK trips. Back down th SR where i'm meeting with the Mrs. who is flying in to SF then bussing up to SR. We then do our own thing but working towards Las Vegas where the wife flies home and i catch up with the rest of the Moab trip at MOAB taking in Bonneville on the way. Back with the others to SF then fly SF to LHR. We will be accompanied in this endevour by Steve (SPM0912) and Judith Milsom and perhaps Peter (newboy) and Celia Haughton.

Showed the route for this to my mate and his parents (just moved back south after 20yrs in the Alaskan wilderness) while I was in the US this week. Had 3 offers for a pillion:D

Thanks Alfonz. Nice little video especially with the sound off......:augie

It's a fantastic part of the world and in the 5 times I've taken trips up there, I've only ever met one person who didn't like it!!

Glad you liked it!

Now living in Europe I would sure like to repeat it but this time through Norway :)

I trust you all had a good Christmas and New Year. Now all that's over we can get down to the real business of trips for 2016. As I've mentioned, we will have a pre trip meeting to go through all the details. It also gives us a great opportunity to meet each other and ask any questions you need to.

The date will be Saturday 6th February 2016 and the details are as follows:

Adventure Bike Warehouse
Unit 5 Agecroft Enterprise Park
Swinton
Manchester
M27 8WA

www.adventurebikewarehouse.com

I plan to start the presentation at 2.00pm and it will cover both trips this summer.

If you are booked on one of the trips and you cannot make it for any reason, I will send you all the presentation notes via email so will be up to speed with everything.

Gary will knock up one of his infamous Chili's for the occasion and will have a wide range of adventure bike equipment and clothing on display.

Anyone is welcome to come to this and listen to me woffle on for a couple of hours about riding in the USA. If you are interested in a trip in the future or just want to know about riding in North America come along and I'll be able to answer any questions you might have.

I haven't ridden the Dalton but have covered most of where you're going - fantastic roads and scenery! Anyone new to the metal decked bridge at Teslin? If you are then just take a light grip on the bars and go with the flow. Enjoy!

Hi Chris,
We will attend also.
Up for this next year, haven't looked at this thread for ages and when I do there is your gig in Feb !
Must be a sign.....

I've got one space available on this brilliant trip so PM me if anyone is interested.:thumb
Bump for your space !! Roll up folks ,got to be about the best way in the world to spend your hard earned (much better than wasting it on stuff like household expenditures :D)

See you at your Waffle weekend :D

Shame I'm away that weekend otherwise would have liked to attend your talk to learn more about the trip. Don't suppose you'd be doing it another time as well?
