Hi ordered light bar & led 20w each spot lights total (£51) from the above. I have read forums about power supply, but a Thunderbox seems easy answer, but £65. Knowing the situation, is there a more practical cheaper option? R1250GS Rallye 20yr

Depends how you want to use them
If you want to use them through the day and not annoy everyone (incl your mates if you're behind them), then a dimmer works well. I used this one:
Don't need a thunderbox, it's a fused unit
You can run the aux lights at 10,20,30...100% brightness during the day (i use 20%) and they give full blast when main beam is on

The Adventure shop gadget looks good but dearer still.Im using their sat nav holder/power item for my Tom Tom in place of the Nav5 & works a treat.

Buy a din plug and use the 12v socket on the RHS of the dash? I did that on my 1st GS to run my dashcam before getting a hexezecan. IIRC the canbus has a 5a limit on the socket so 2 x 20w lights would be fine as they'll draw just over 3a.

Do you mean the one underneath the side panel which I have yet to find, if so please explain where & how. The sat nav Tom Tom is powered by the Adventure shop bracket where the original eas fitted for the nav5 now replaced.
