I think this subject falls into the category of not pleasing everyone all the timeMagnum, rather than make a huge logistical nightmare for yourself it might be an option to provide a suggested route along with some recommended sights to see plus the daily/nightly rendezvous point and let natural selection take it's course,I'm all for a mad charge with a fast-er group but from time to time I'll want to drop into tourist mode and soak up the views, visit some interesting places and take some pics along the way, there's more to see and do in the Alps than a week permits anyway, just my 0.02c![]()

Every trip will have a focus and this one is geared around riding great roads. By splitting the group into 3 speed categories we get over the problems associated with keeping together, slowness of re-fuelling and forcing people to ride at a pace they are not comfortable with. There's a hell of a lot of fun to be had knowing that you're riding with a handful of mates who share the same passion as you for this experience. If that wasn't important I'd be doing this trip alone as I'm looking at the Alps out of my study window right now

Having said all that I bet there's not a person on this trip, me included, that won't want to stop and soak in the scenery, take plenty of pics and do a bit more than just ride their bikes. The pace and detail of the daily schedule will probably just happen on the fly so I wouldn't worry

starts on the 19th, so maybe some of you would want to extend the stay and do the sort run up to Munich, just a thought. Have fun.
