I've just returned from a 10 day tour around the French & Swiss Alps, The Black Forest and the Alsace region of north east France so thought I'd stick a few pictures up. A group of us get away each year although the numbers vary each time. This year there were four of us. We covered about 2300 miles, rode 35 passes, ate a lot of good food, a lot, and had a good few beers and wines. We had one minor spill into the french undergrowth, I missed my footing at a junction, dropped the bike, got up and fell down a 6' bank into german undergrowth and someone 'forgot to put the oil filler cap back on', you can imagine the result. Messy....very messy. All in all a great trip and a good oportunity to get to know my new bike on which despite having only owned it for 5 weeks now, I have now covered nearly 4000 miles.
