my rear brake light is not working correctly

I have removed the switch and its only working intermittently so a new switch is needed

Is there an alternative to the very high priced original ?

thanks

So do you have the Servo brake or not ?

its an important question as you have 2 types

Servo is a normally closed switch which breaks a connection when the lever is pulled / pushed down (Is the servo still active or has it been removed and the ECU connected back in the loom again? In which case you will still need the push to break connection type!

NON ABS is a normal normally open, Push / press to connect and make a contact type switch

I restored one to use by flushing it out with maintenance spray. It was pretty crunchy but using the spray can and straw and working it got a load of grit out.

I resorted to this, it didn't seem gritty

I suspect the previous owner didnt use it much

also clicking it on and off repeatedly seems to have helped it work again

its back on the bike and working
