I Love Mine

... True love it is too ... North Oxford Garage who supplied it have been brilliant.

... BMW were crap when it came to resolving my side-panel issue ... not my favourite peeps at all the moment, but good old NOG fixed it despite them! :rob

Love mine too

What's not to like :nenau

Me and the wife love our's even after the gearbox oil leak :bow . The wife say's if it could cook and clean she would be redundant

Haven't found anything else that comes close so its looking like a new one next spring time :thumb

Mine is also the BESTEST

Got it Aug 2005 and rode it almost everyday since :)
Been to UK 2 times (I live in Germany). Been to Austria, Switzerland, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Lichtenstein and all over Germany...... Great bike, Great service, friendly dealership (they only get funny when I mention football and WWII) lol. Apart from that I aint got no complaints, except maybe I dont get out enough......... :thumb

Yep, like many others have said - the best bike I've owned (so far!). the 1200 is my 3rd GS. For all those who maintain that the previous bikes were better - I couldn't trust my last GS (an 1150) to get out of the garage without something going wrong. If BMW ever built a piece of sh1t, my last bike was it!

Now I really enjoy being able to keep up with (Or leave behind, on the right road!) my mates on 'Blades etc., which I couldn't do on my last two 1150GS's - they were just too heavy, too cumbersome and too underpowered by comparison. Not ony that, due to the lower weight and more power, the 1200 is a much better bike offroad, despite what the Luddites will try and tell you!
