Shows them on the web site but doesn't mention stock. Everyone else I have tried including Bike Tyrestore who are trade only say no stock and when they do get any they go to people who have back ordered them. Sounds like the front is the main issue!
I am tempted rather than fit tyres I don't want, especially as my bike is going in the Spring.
Would you risk using this front tyre for a 1500 mile trip to Brittany it's done 8500 miles so far and is about 1mm off the tread marker??

Is there a shortage Of Anakee's in France?? Being a French company probably not, so see how you go and if it looks iffy try a French Tyre fitters or Dealer
This trip is just the wife and I with no long distances loaded up, it's more about relaxing than a lot of trips so no racing about, all giving the tyres an easier time. So my options are 1. risk it. 2. Get a PR4 Trail. 3. Bridgestone A40 F+R or 4. Avon Trailrider F+R (and hope mudsling ok)?
had a rear Anakee III fitted today @ Bike tyres Leeds I could have got a few more miles out of it but got a tour of Scotland in a couple of weeks ,i never skimp on tyres get a new one for piece of mind
Ring around a couple of BMW dealers. last time there was shortage of them (late 2014) my dealer had literally hunderds in stock ( bulk buy )

I'm sorry to hear that as I warned Dean that they may get a request from someone on this site, however Dean the Sales Manager was actually off work today when I rang him, he was pedaling somewhere on a mountain bike, so I'll chase him up on your behalf tomorrow and see if can sort something out for you.

Is the wear indicator set at 2mm? If so then should be no problem for your trip
Must admit not measured it had just wanted a new tyre, didn't think it could be so differcult to get such a popular tyre!

Dave, as promised I have spoken to Dean sales manager this morning and he will look into, suggest that you try him just one more time, although if there is a shortage he may not be fussed about letting them go, however it is a BMW dealership and you are a paying customer, and I'm sure that other main dealers will post tyres out?
Just rung these people and they had a set so I have bought both they should be with me tomorrow
