I remember seeing the both of give each other no quarter in Mondello in the 70's and catch up on them in their vans heading through Balbriggan. The bit between Balbriggan and Gormanstown had a few twisters.- yon vans could fair shift.
They were great times, reliable jap bikes, a small few bob in yer pocket and racers who gave it all; Mervyn and Joey did give it all - in all respects.
Are they dicing in heaven.
