try and puts a plastic tray under the module to collect the brake fluid... evil rot and can fall in a breather at the top of the box and on to the clutch

let us know how you get on with that stupid bolt on the bottom....

Hmmmm d’you mean this one,if I undo the two nuts one side and one the other will the unit come out, because the little bar steward has rounded off 🤯

... not sure the orientation of your photo - but if thats the bottom you already got it off

I took the stupid bracket off with the module the first time - that was years back, so I've forgotten
loosen the brake pipe whilst its all secure - but leave them in till ready

As to spilled brake fluid ?? Warm soapy water to flush it away

As to rounded bolt? Tap a "near size" spline drive bit into it!

between the beating it in and the grip/deformation it usually lets go when you apply rotary force via your rachet or whatever

Did you slacken the Brake Nuts ? Do you have something to seal the brake line ends ??

Mechanics "rubber type" of gloves are Brake fluid resistant ! Cut a finger tip off and slip over the pipe and cinch it with a cable tie or just insulating tape

So IF I recall correctly the Brake unit is just mounted on Anti vibe mounts ??

Just protect the paintware / alloy and use a tyre lever they will break off before the engine pulls apart

AND it is well worth replacing them and using an ALLOY anti seize into the block

AND also remove clean and refit / protect that main engine ground lead that you can;t get to normally !!

Is that the right hand side of the frame ??

Is it only the Brown wire that you nicked??
Yes mate, right hand side, I’m not sure if it’s just the brown I can’t pull the harness up enough, that’s why I’m asking where the bugga goes
Thanks for your reply mate 👍

Mine is in "bits" at the minute with all the looms stripped off so can't help much But the only things down from there are the Lamda and the Knock sensor

Yours is a later one but a good torch is your friend

"IF" it were me I would get that Bloody ABS unit out first and then you will have more room to look / repair
!

Cheers mate, I’ve got the torch, 👍 but you can’t see “Jack Shit” down there, oh and yes I wish it was you 🤣😉👍
That’s the plan now ABS out 👍

Another Q, can I remove those two plugs, easily and then put them back without any problem, they’re in the way of my drill to try and drill the bolt out of the ABS bracket, and what are the called please
Cheers Baza

Yes 100%

Just bung a bit of Making tape over the openings to keep metal bits from getting in there and not being noticed
