And so it’s Starts 🤞🤞

No you wally

My understanding is where the cables enter / exit number 1

And also the routing round the throttle body linkages the big black plastic things (look like big circles )
Ok same Q why would they pack in now, doing the ABS I didn’t touch them (I don’t think)
Thanks for the reply mate 👍
Oh and that’s the nicest thing anyone’s called me today 🤣🤣🤦‍♂️👍

They don't pack in, the cables get dislodged, where you've been wiggling and moving stuff to get your abs unit out

fighting the tank on and off...

carefully reach behind to the inside face of the throttle body... you should be able to feel the quadrant the cables pull open and closed - on each side check they fully open and snap closed
then as per a recent post - check - I threw my GS down the road on the right side, but didn't realise in doing so I kicked the TPS connector off the left throttle body

Thanks Santa and botus, being this thick is hard work 🤦‍♂️
Honestly thanks for your help 👏👍
Cheers Baza

Not to sure but may have found the lumpy running problem, both cables were loose, but I haven’t touched them at all.Could that be the running issue 🤔
Would a set of vacuum gauges help,if so what type do you guys use 🤔
I’d be looking to spend around £20

cables do nothing at idle.... they have a small amount of slop to ensure they close and to allow enough slop re the large steering lock.
carb balance is getting vac the same on light cable throttle openings - it will make low speed running nicer - but the thing is a tractor - mine has been running different as the weather has changed - mid week it ran like and utter dog - yet the day before and the day after its running the best it ever has - its what they do

and don't forget the 5hrs job has taken 3 months - so the fuel with be separated water and gel - go get 5 litres of BP97 - the esso and shell 99 (if its a TC that needs >98) is now utter rubbish

Thanks fella’s as always,we’re nearly there,thank 🤬I hear you cry 😉🤣
Eh botus I wish I had half n hour spare,never mind 5hours🙄🤣
Grandkids take priority over everything, then the rest is called living or so I’m told 😉👍
