I have a 1200GSA on an 06 plate with alarm fitted. Recently I have had problems with the little camera batteries in the key fob running flat within a day or 2 and replaced 3 of the things until I realised that something was wrong with the fob and not the actual bike alarm system:blast

Anyone else had this issue...guess I will need a new alarm fob as a replecement ££££££

I have set the alram to come on 30 secs after the ignition key is removed but this is rather annoying :mcgun

No probs with mine - I have mine programmed so I have to 'plip' it on or off.

Err! Let me think about this :confused:

Cost of BW alarm =£300.00

Insurance discount with alarm fitted =10%

Cost of insurance 'Fully comp' =£137.00

Total discount =£13.70

300 devided by 13.7 =21.9 years

Excess =£200.00

Insurance loading if claim for Loss =15%

£137.00 X 15% = £157.55

Increase in insurance after loss =£20.55

:nenau:nenau:nenau:nenau:nenau

WHY THE F**K WOULD YOU WANT A PAIN IN THE ASS £300.00 ALARM FITTED WHEN YOUR ONLY AT BEST GIONG TO SAVE YOURSELF £220.00 ON THE NEXT INSURANCE BILL.

Beats me :rolleyes:

None meant. Ride and enjoy ;)
