Don’t see why not,
Assuming they will come apart and the lower legs have no internal damage.
Alternatively,
Drop a PM to Nin.
He has a set he won’t need on his project bike

Lots of stuff in the air with this one.
Replacement barrels are currently being rebored,
Frame is at powder
Working through the cleaning and blasting.
Wheels are being rebuilt.
Panels/ tank etc is with painter.
This bike will be up for sale once completed.
If you might be interested in owning it,shout up.
It’s planned to be repainted as original.
But it can be done any colour you want.

Spent a bit of time media blasting one of the heads

Once I’d finally got the fuel cap off,(it drew first blood)
The inside of the tank was proper manky
I wasn’t sure whether it was rust or fuel sediment.
So I sent it for acid dipping.
I was concerned it would come back like a teabag
Not so,,, perfect

Guess what I’m doing over Xmas.

You make lovelyness look so easy..I’m recently getting back into Air Heads after a 30 year sabbatical, which were the dream bikes of my formative years, and for someone of little mechanical ability, a very useable ‘Classic’.

Every Marque has their so called Specialists (less said about that the better) you truly are, your work speaks volumes.

Keeping them alive, good on you Mike..

Got the wheels back,
Was unable to get continental tyres ,wholesaler been out of stock for a fair while now,
So settled on a pair of metzlers.
