someone that does not know the relationship between watts amps and Volts, maybe its because you cant understand it??
Watts = power
Amps = current
Volts = potential difference
Look Warmshed You are what you are and I am what I am, What I know is that:-
A welder uses current to create an arc which creates heat to melt metal and weld stuff, not volts
Volts "usually" (within reason) don't kill electronics but Amps Do
and My Granda's favourite adage when we were wiring up industrial sites using both single and three phase supplies "Volts don't Kill Amps Do"
I think my reasoning is sound enough If you don;t agree that's fine, We'll agree to differ, But don't give me crap about theory and if X remains constant etc etc that's fine in the lab in the real world it ain't lab conditions
If designers lived in the real world we'd all have early model 1150GS's and not fall apart pile of Schite 1200s!
Another example Clutches in a 2006 Astra wouldn't take 6 hours when we used to do them in 45minutes in a 96 model, Mainly because some arse with little or no real world concepts design this stuff on a computer and wouldn't know how to reverse a fucking 3/8th ratchet in real life!
