Another Test Ride

See my note above. Mine only does it in dynamic mode. It's either a very sensative thottle or, poor wrist action on my part!

I'm not sure why you would be using constant throttle in dynamic mode, isn't that a contradiction in terms? The only constant throttle would be full throttle.:aidan
 
The book says 5,000 rpm max during running in so that's what I am doing - i don't care what others say, I have always run the bike in by the book and my previous two 1200s have used hardly any oils - there are loads of daft theories out there about running in but I ignore them.

P.S. who are the Honda Hillbillies any way????

I got such polite and helpful replies in the Hexhead section when I dared to suggest that running in a £16,000 motorcycle per the manual was the correct course of action. Apparently as a Accountant (and not an engineer) I'm not allowed an opinion.

But I can tell you this, when my LC arrives I will be running it in per the manual as I would with any new vehicle :rob
