A company called Spamhaus is blocking all emails from machines they consider to be sending spam email. You will not be able to send email from your blocked ISP unless you go through a complicated removal procedure.

I tried to send a dozen business mails this morning, all different with different subject lines, and all were blocked. My business is now dead for at least two days which will cost me thousands.

Spamhaus is not contactable via telephone and they do not answer emails. The company was set up by a lunatic who thinks the best way to stop spam is to block anything even slightly suspicious, without any regard to cost. Steve Linford, the owner, is little more than an internet terrorist.

Be very careful.

I've had problems with Spamhaus blocking my outgoing emails as well.
I've just set up an account with authsmtp.com and I now have my email server relay all of the email it tries to send, through my authsmtp.com account.
Works a treat ;)

They used to blacklist entire domains because there was one open relay machine on the domain, even if only for a short time. One of the smaller ISPs had all their outgoing mailed blacklisted.

There are a couple of them. They think they're doing good, but they're killing the net as fast as the spammers. My site got killed by one of them (SORBS). I never sent email under the domain, but because someone was spoofing my domain, they got it removed from the DNSs. They've got an incredible power on the internet, and there's nothing we can do about it. I ended up having to move my system to the US, and restart there, with all cost than came with that.

No email contact, no phone, just misery. We're acceptable innocent casualties, just like in wars.
