kissed with sunshine, nowhere better than Ireland when the sun is up.
The Antrim coast road from Portrush to Carrickfergus is stunning as good as any biker road in Europe.
Fist dilemma was what to ride, both bikes pepped decision was made 10 minutes before the off.
The BMW needed running in and I knew it would be a fairly rapid event.
I love the 6 and am grabbing the keys more and more.

In good company but the 6 was up to the job, not a lot of speed out of it but what is there is turbine like.
Makes decent progress from 7000 to 9000, I have a rev limiter set at 9000
This motorcycle has done 15k miles from new and I put a lot of work into the running gear.
The handling and high speed stability is superb once I ditched the crap PR3's and fitted Angel GT's
I have modified VFR800 handlebars and I love the Sport / touring riding position.

I am not into the racing due to the rider attrition rate. Multistrada guy and I elected to run up to Carrickfergus and back on the Saturday instead of sitting on a grass banking at the NW200. We had the route to ourself, all the bikers were at the NW200.
I reluctantly had to give up the 6 for a while and take the Multi, a motorcycle to be owned by a hooligan otherwise its a waste. Lucky I didn't stall, Multi guy still had the key.

Both motorcycles are 1982
30 years between the pictures, Derry has changed, now a big tourist attraction.
