Any High Mileage FD's out there?

Looking at the info that I have the breather version of the FD doesn't have any more oil in it so the only thing the breather is going to do is stop a seal from blowing. If your a pessimist then you could say it will also let water in. That said I dont know if the volume inside the FD has changed and the actual oil level is higher despite there being the same volume of oil put in.

I do not have mate with bearings.

I think I did mention Cray Engineering who do specialise in engineering work for BMW's, they told me they can rebuild FD's and were considering doing them as a replacement service.

im sticking with my 07 gsa ,i dont want no fecking drive with a breather,only another hole for the oil to come out of and everybody knows what happens when there no oil in yer drive
