Theres a second hand swing arm on ebay at mo £10 start no bids as yet:thumb

Weld would be best but as a home made codge you could self tap a steel or alloy 'skid plate' under that section and fill the hole with plastic metal:augie

it's not doing anything unless you get a longer chain. ignore it, file it smooth to improve appearance(?), or weld and machine it.

thanks for the heads up, it ended last night with no bids and reserve not met, checked with the seller who will relist at a later date, apparently came from a xchallenge with 400 miles on the clock that had a low speed accident with a car and everything that could have got potentially damaged got replaced, he said it looks fine but i guess there is a risk of micro fractures or something so i'll have to think about it as whilst cheaper than a new one its still a fair amount.

its a fairly new chain so not thinking of replacing soon, but i am thinking of trying a 13T front sprocket that would in effect lengthen the chain a bit.

not sure how much welding and machining would cost ... any ideas anyone?

Many thanks

variable. little job on the side: £20 each to the welder and machinist. less if you happen across the right guys.

on the books: double?
