thanks for the heads up, it ended last night with no bids and reserve not met, checked with the seller who will relist at a later date, apparently came from a xchallenge with 400 miles on the clock that had a low speed accident with a car and everything that could have got potentially damaged got replaced, he said it looks fine but i guess there is a risk of micro fractures or something so i'll have to think about it as whilst cheaper than a new one its still a fair amount.

its a fairly new chain so not thinking of replacing soon, but i am thinking of trying a 13T front sprocket that would in effect lengthen the chain a bit.
not sure how much welding and machining would cost ... any ideas anyone?
