Thanks a lot! Is the silver side panel on the tank silver or white? It's hard to tell in the picture, although it maybe looks silver?
Is this a factory color there, or was it painted by a previous owner?
I'm seriously thinking of painting my red one white. I don't know if I will actually do it yet or not.

Like you I wasn't too chuffed by my 2/3 tone BMW 06 grey.
Simplicity in white IMO was the key.
Here's my homage to GS PDs of yore
The black steel cockpit surround is patterned on the Wunderlich plastic one which cracked.
Quite a bit of powder coating and since these pix the Remus system has been ceramic coated black.
Seat has also been changed for a Sargent seat - the handling benefits & comfort change can only be described as phenomenal.
