Tea has been brewed, bacon is under the grill.

Looking to be at the Trout petrol station by 10am, 1150GS and Ninjette, both black :thumb2

Probably too late now, but if you are coming up the M6..... Don't worry about the fog... The sun is shining up here.... Just !!

Very foggy here, but looks to be brightening up.

See you at Clitheroe :thumb2

Well thanks for a a nice day people.

Sorry it went to sh1t at the end there... It started throwing it down at Devils so we took the quick option home and bailed out on to the M6.

I'd forgotten how nice that road across to Kirby Stephen is.. I would have stopped for some photos by all that snow, but the wind was that 'orrid I don't think you'd have all appreciated me having a photo shoot ! i need practice as the rest of my photos from today are crap... The only decent one I've got was Konica chatting up the local constabulary !!

Cheers:beerjug::beerjug::beerjug::beerjug::beerjug::beerjug:

All, thanks for a great day, shame about the rain, however, the chasing CJ's 1200 on my old 1150 was great fun, looking forwards to another ride out soon !

thanks for a most excellent day:D will put me piccies on later, just having another brew......:augiethem moors was a tad windy!!!!!!!!!lol

deinfately lots of fun :JB

love every minute.... cept buttertubs... :eek not ideal on a CBR... i'll go practice for next time :D

really enjoyed it, was a nice steady pace - barely used any petrol :clap (til the fly down the M6 home:augie) and almost no police :bounce1

thank you everyone. thanks Debs for TEC'ing :kissy2

Nice day, some spirited riding nicely sandwiched with some bimbling, but a pity about the heavens opening at Devil's. Soph and I cut back to Settle (where it was dry) in time to see two BMW S1000RRs and eat some chips.

Like kneeslider, I enjoyed the cut of the 1150's gib, even though Janie came past on a straight at, ooh, eleventy twenty mph :augie

Oh, and with a username like kneeslider916, now I know why I couldn't catch Darren if I messed up just one corner :D

Thanks to CJ and Konica for putting the word out on here, Good turn-out in the end :thumb2

one good thing about todays run... not to many turns so everyone could go at their own pace without getting lost:thumb2

thanks Debs for TEC'ing :kissy2

'twas a pleasure :kissy2

Excellent ride out - Thanks CJ and Konica for letting us play out with you.

Really nice day, and such a pleasant pace - it's nice to actually ride in a group, and be able to see everyone infront of you. Sorry to shoot off at Devils, but I was absolutely freezing - don't know why cos I had about 7 layers on :nenau

Looks like it was a good move in the end - I could see the rain coming in after I left Devils, but managed to avoid it, so got home in one piece and dry :thumb2

Thanks everyone for the company - good to meet some fellow GSers. Hopefully the first of many (well it was actually my second ride with this site)

we left the rain behind near lancaster... i stopped at preston then was racing (:augie) the loomy dark clouds home.

byt the time i got to lymm the sun was shining again

What a shame it started raining - hope you didn't get too wet.

Must admit, I had to give it a bit of welly to get away from them gloomy clouds. Just got a couple of drops on the visor before Cowan Bridge. Only just started raining here about half an hour ago.

Hey all, many thanks for helping me get a couple of hundred more miles under the belt - brilliant ride out, we got a bit damp when we left Devil's for Caton, but by the time we got there it was dry again in time for tea and cake ;)

Cheers to all for helping remember why I got my licence in the first place :D
and apologies to anyone who may have been behind me at any point, if I made you brake a bit more than you were expecting :hide

Excellent day, gave me a cracking insight into the GSA's road manners and handling, 1st ride out with the GSers, hopefully not the last. Went in on a few bends a bit hot, but the bike and ABS it was extremely forgiving.
Thoroughly enjoyed it all, just starting to cramp up sat in the warm with a steaming mug of tea. Great to meet you all:beerjug::beerjug::beer::thumb2:thumb2

Hey Rich, I think I owe you an apology for tail-gating you a bit. I didn't realise you were still getting acclimatized :beerjug:
