Thought about having a run up to Dalkeith for a look but I'm in lazy mode no motivation today :o

I took a run into Bishopbriggs early this morning. Some motocrossers who visited seemed impressed with it. Certainly a lot lighter than my R1200GS ;)

Seems like its quite an innovative bike. For example the chain is mounted at the pivot arm for the rear suspension.

Hoping to take a run down to Selkirk tomorrow where it will be on display at the Scottish Enduro Championships

I know this is probably a silly question but......How do they get those style of bikes up on those stands or milk crates? Is it a 2 man job or do they lift one end on and see saw the other up?

Actually, the real problem is that they are so light, it's a headache trying to keep them sitting down on the stand.

who makes it for BMW ? Aprilla :)

Neither

Motors are made under licence in Taiwan/Malaysia by KYMCO (of scooter fame)

Probably assembled in BMW factory in Spandau

G650 range is made by Aprillia in their Noale factory in Italy and it shows:thumb
Excellent quality:thumb
