Anyone else tried the Low Sargent seat

That is not 100% true. You can easily fit the Sargent front with the stock rear. There is no problem with doing it. However, there will be a gap at the back of the seat between the two. It bothers some, but does not effect functionality.

Well yes is does fit, if you dont care about it damaging the front seat in that it rubs when the rear stock seat is in both the front and rear positions

Must be your bike. I have done it on a GSA and GS and it did not rub. It touched, just like the factory one does. No reason to think it will damage it.
