Anyone had a gearbox failure?

Mine has stuck in 6th gear and my bmw expert has never heard of any doing this before. Has anyone else?

Not a complete failure but one of the bearings in my gearbox had to be replaced. It was a gearbox-out-job that require the bike to be split in two. Done under warranty so all is now well

checked out the usual suspects but non of the symptoms are like mine. The clutch is disengaging ok and the linkages move freely and spring back ok. It just won`t come out of 6th!
