Anyone had theirs yet ?

Sorry guys, but this will pish on someone's chips, that I'm sure.

*** Just hearing this news and its effective immediately ***

RRP of Zumo 660 has increased to £549.99 inc VAT

This affects all newly placed orders, but those with existing orders in with a reseller who'se awaiting stock (so pre-ordered) appear to be safe, but must stress that you check with your vendor/dealer.

Garmin's own web site still has the SRP at £429, I would think that this site would have the price increase shown first?!

660 not released yet

Spoke to Garmin UK today and was told that they have them in stock and will be sending them out to there distributors very soon, they told me they have not sent any out yet so where did the ones out there come from ????

Had mine delivered to me this afternoon!

Very chuffed, switched it on, connected to PC and did firmware update - all working 100% - Maps active... ready for tomorrow's trip to Brussels!

........... paid £409 incl VAT for mine (and still getting the VAT back) :augie

Must say that I am suitably impressed. Unfortunately I did not have access to a scoot here in the UK, so the cage just had to do.

The unit is very user-friendly indeed and the Lane changing screen just does it for me.....

Having the compass and track facility is also going to be of great help in the bush..... worth the wait imo

ordered from satnaveasy at end of march
recived a email 2day saying its been posted should be here tomorrow:)

Its here - Weathering improvements

Mine arrived today as well. Those nice folks at handtec called yesterday to advise it was being delivered, great service.

First impressions is that they have made a number of improvements with the waterproofing aspects as there is now a plastic cover over the one part used to connect to the cradle and the power supply lead is all part of the cradle, which means swapping between bikes is a no-no.

So far impressed but to time to use it yet, charging up the battery but the screen looks nice!

Handtec

Got mine from Handtec. To be fair to them they have produced the goods and at the price I pre booked it at which was £362.89. You can not be any fairer than that.

Worth the wait and a happy punter here.:aidan

I agree - I received mine at the pre-ordered price as well, and they supplied within 24 hrs after confirming that their stock had arrived - HOWEVER - I am pissed at them after asking and instructing them to send me an acceptable VAT receipt so I could get my 54 quid VAT back....that they send me something that the HMSC at Gatwick yesterday morning laughed at .... it was NOT an acceptable VAT receipt ... and I have lost the funds... not a lot maybe, but when you multiply that amount by 14 and convert to SA Rands - it's a lot and will pay my fuel bill for the Dakkie for 6 months! :eek

let's see what Handtec does to compensate :blast

Got mine today from satnaveasy. Pre-ordered at £361.15, including VAT and delivery :) Worth the wait and seems like a reasonable company to do business with.

It must be different to the one I got, as mine has what I would think as all the details that would qualify it as a Vat receipt. Are you sure they weren't taking the :monkeypiz
