Anyone Hilltopped a Watercooled GSA Yet? Thoughts?

I was riding my 1150 today and it started raining without me even touching a rain mode button. Does my bike need hilltopping to stop it happening again?

Had my 15 plate GS LC done. Best mod out there, get it done

I'm sure nippy has an aftermarket flashing light at a very competitive price that you could retrofit, don't know if it will stop raining though

I like that idea, something to make the traction control light flicker without having to give it to much throttle - It would sell by the bucket load to the #goprowankers

When I had mine done a 2011 triple black this year a guy had a brand new GSA with full akro exhaust was before me sounded mint and went like stink.
It's was silver colour and I think he was on this site.
Cannot recommend it enough

Never mind the power modes and flashing lights -- should we tell our insurers about it...?

An alternative to Hilltop

As an alternative to Hilltop I can now offer adaptive tuning (it tunes the engine `on the fly` - something Hilltop can`t do, once it`s tuned it`s tuned) or a simple gizmo that sorts out the fuelling in the closed loop range - i.e up to 6000 RPM.

It`s brill, i`ve tested it myself and it works, awesomely.

And it comes with a blanking plug so you can revert the bike back to the OEM map.

Costs a sh*tload of money though, but you don`t have to retune the bike every time you put something new on the bike like a free flow filter etc etc

It`s on my site on the tuning tab if anyone is interested..............

Had my GS LC done couple of years ago and I loved the difference it made. It's been back to my dealer a few times for servicing and software upgrades and the technicians said they can't see anything different or unusual when they plug it into their diagnostics.

I've also had it checked on another dyno and got figures for power and talk within 3% of the numbers on Geoff's graphs.

I appreciate that some folk don't need/like/want/believe etc. and that's fine, it's their choice, however I would highly recommend! :thumb2

I have a 2015 LC with 6,000 miles on the clock.

Took it to Hilltop 2 weeks ago after fitting a full arrow exhaust system.Main reason for going was I was concerned the bike would be running very lean after fitting the exhaust as they are lean to start with.

The dyno showed an extra 11 bhp at the wheel and more importantly 20 lbs extra torque after the tune. I was present at both the before and after runs and Geoff showed me the process and download throughout the procedure. Gave me confidence in what he was doing.

Noticed an immediate change on riding away the bike is way smoother, linear power throughout the rev range and no hesitation at 4,000 revs which my bike had before.

To answer your question in my humble opinion it was money very well spent the bike feels way livlier and smoother.

Looks interesting but cant see a cost?
