Anyone Hilltopped a Watercooled GSA Yet? Thoughts?

Back to the original Q had my 2015 LC sorted a month ago went with 83 BHP came out with 110 second Gs done with Geoff smoothest ride ever !! Don't hesitate get it done you will not regret

Lets see the before and after dyno charts then...

That sounds like either you've made a mistake with the figures or you've been hoodwinked. 83 as standard is ridiculous.

Agreed 83 looks a little low, but not ridiculous. 110 after re-map is about right on standard pipes.

A 27 bhp gain with a remap? No chance.

Will there be improvements in driveability/smoothness? Absolutely.
27 bhp? I just can't believe that I'm afraid.
I'm taking mine there straight away if it adds 27bhp,its a bloody bargain.

LOL! A 33% increase in power just by a remap?!

Geoff's talents are wasted on GSes... he should be in F1...

I have a feeling that the before results are always a little on the low side, to make the after figures look better.:augie

Either way, I've been a few times, and couldn't give a toss what the before or after figures are, the bike delivers the power the way it should do, which is all that matters.

Can someone point me to the orignal posts on Hilltop. Link I have found in threads dont seem to work.
Search facility is no real help. Wnat to make own mind up
Thanks
Mike

out of interest , is it possible for the dealer to undo Geoff's magic when they reconnect to their magic machine for an annual service of a map upgrade etc.....?

Speak to Geoff at hilltop - he's a great geezer and I'm sure he will spend all the time you need to discuss it. Unless one of the lads knows.........

Yeah I've had a few bikes done there before , I was just curious if anyone knew.
Also used a PCV and autotune before as well , though I didn't get quite get the dramatic results , though it could have been nut behind the wheel syndrome

No, it's all protected and doesn't get undone when you get a software upgrade :thumb2

Post the graphs, we could do with a laugh

I just dug mine out and it was 96.98 bhp before and 114.47 after Geoff had worked his magic.

It went from 70.43 Torques to 88.2:P

Where do you go to get it done and what is the cost of such procedure?

The BMW spec on an R1200GSA is 125 HP and 92 lb-ft. The "after" numbers are below those figures.

Crank figures from BMW for a bike within perfect parameters.
Back wheel figures from Hilltop.
