Anyone interested in a First Aid Course specifically for bikers?

hi is this for members and sponsers only or can i bring a work mate along.

Provided there is enough space, I don't see any harm in non-sponsors tagging along, but I suppose we'd better give sponsors and bikers the first option. Remind me nearer the time, but as at 9.00pm last night there were already 7 confirmed and about another 8 who had expressed an interest - subject to dates.

Thanks for the messages, PMs etc. The list for the First Aid course at Rydales, 50 Penarth Road, Cardiff for Saturday 27th May 06 has now been finalised and is attached. Just to remind you, it will start at 11.00am prompt (probably best to meet up at 10.30am for a natter / cuppa / gloat at the smart BMWs beforehand). It is suggested that the course finishes at 2.00pm for those that need to "make plans", but as there will be a "general Q&A session" please bear in mind that that is just a suggested finishing time. Don't forget there will be a nominal £5 charge for refreshments - any "profit" to go to Welsh Air Ambulance Service.

I reckon there is sufficient demand to run the course twice, so in fairness Medicbike and Rydales have agreed to run a 2nd course on Saturday 10th June 06. Please let me know if you would like to attend. If there aren't enough numbers purely from Wales for the 2nd course, I suggest we also post it in the South West section, as I know a few GSers from the Bristol area have expressed an interest.

I already had petal.

I've checked with Rydales that they're ok with 14. Its 2 more than Peter suggested, but they are happy with it.

I was given the date by Peter Cramp at Rydales (who had obviously agreed it with Medicbike beforehand) so I assume its fixed.

Pity you can't make it, but as we are having Rydales conference room and Medicbikes talents for free, I think we would be pushing our luck to ask either of them to change anything.

Taff Pricey is not going to be able to make the first aid course on the 27th so if anyone else wants to do it they can have his space. We have had trouble sorting baby sitters out and he has not long done a first aid course.

Thanks for letting me know, but as the 1st course was already overbooked it may be best if we don't look for a replacement. Rydales reckoned that 14 may have been a bit tight anyway.

There will be a 2nd course soon anyway, if he's interested in that. Will start a separate thread for that though to keep things simple.
