These forks have just been found in the garage of a deceased friend.

He was a lifelong airhead enthusiast and I’m thinking it likely he was considering a front end swap.

But what forks are they ?

Anyone recognise them ?

I said I would advertise them for his widow.

I Googled the yoke number…. Seems like ktm 640 yoke, so presumably ktm 640 forks too.

I may be wrong tho….

Can you get a photo of the calliper mount? Sometimes the part number of the fork is stamped down there

Thanks both for the replies.

I don’t have the forks in my possession sadly - these photographs were forwarded to me.

I’m wracking my brains but I recall a conversation about converting an R65G/S front end to KTM forks.

Is this a known upgrade ?

Mikeyboy is the oracle for this.
Think he used a custom yoke (Mistacat) - some problem with the offset.

Don’t want to rain on the parade, but is that a crack at about 2 o’clock from the main pivot bolt on the lower pic?

No idea. As I said I don’t have these in my possession.

Just trying to help the widow of a deceased friend move some parts on.

Thought we had sold his stash but it appears she has found some more stuff he had squirreled away 😉

I'm fairly sure they are early Husaberg forks probably '92-'95. Pinch bolts on the front of the clamps always looked wrong to me.
The EVO mx people would know.
