In More Crap than News ( aka: MCN) most probably…..Useless. Didn't get his knee down. You must, must get your knee down to corner quickly. It has to be true. I read it here. Or was it MCN?

Or save a few grand and buy a Wunderlich bar conversion on your RS ,same riding position. These:
OZ Piega Forged Aluminium Wheels for BMW R1300GS & Adventure 2023> onwards

As to ‘ just buy an RS, xyz, something else’. Missing the point completely, the riding position on the GS is perfect for back road hustling with the wide bars, add in the now very grunty engine with punch out of corners…

The suspension on mine is great, hardly any dive on the brakes, probably only 500,000 years away.Except it is not. It also lacks telelever.
Never going to be the same bike in a million years.
Is that for the 1250 or 1300rs?Or save a few grand and buy a Wunderlich bar conversion on your RS ,same riding position.

@Reggie353 I've done the conversion as well, but can't find a smaller front fender. Any tips on where you got yours
2010 was my first GS and people thought I was bonkers fitting 17” wheels (carbon) and a quickshifter to a gs, several years later quickshifter is a must have and 17” wheels is the icing on the cake.

Ding Dong. I remember that bike. Was way ahead of its time with the carbon wheels. Where is it now?

I put it back to stock and sold it to a memeber off this very forum 13 yrs ago, the wheels went on a hp2s.
If I can get a few quid together I’m going to do Rotobox carbon wheels on a 1300 Adventure early next year.

There lovely wheels, I actually prefer the unique design over the bst, they remind me of the bmx wheels I had as a kid.
A bit Skyway-esq.![]()

Unfortunately I suspect not, elsewhere on the site they're pretty explict about it - (Hinweis: Der Fender ist nur in Verbindung mit einem Radsatz erhältlich.)These guys list one for sale. Maybe they would sell it separately?

Did you have any luck with getting a mudguard sorted? I’ve just fitted an RT wheel and its transformed the bike, for me - I came from a Multistrada Pikes Peak, so was always used to the 17. I just need to sort the front mudguard now, if only BMW did it from factory!Unfortunately I suspect not, elsewhere on the site they're pretty explict about it - (Hinweis: Der Fender ist nur in Verbindung mit einem Radsatz erhältlich.)
(Note: The fender is only available in conjunction with a wheelset)
It looks very much like a 2019-on S1K mudguard, with a CNC clamp around the fork leg to locate the upper mounting point. Should be easy to replicate if you're reasonably handy.
