Apparently from info found on google they have produced an updated next with slightly harder compound in the middle due to excessive tyre wear on the first batch of tyres, so depending when your tyre was made it could be within the second production run and therefore the excessive wear not be an issue.
If they replaced mine under warranty, which there is no way they will, I'd give the Next the benefit of the doubt, but they won't, and for that reason, I'm out.
