Anyone tried these shield thingys

if it dont look right chances are it aint right,(looks crap imo)

Been looking for some "wally flaps" as I believe they are known, for a while. The various ones seem to fit better than those.

i had wallys flaps:D on an 1150 and they did the job pretty good:thumb2

An ill thought load of rubbish that appears to use up some excess materials from an earlier project.

They're probably too far away from yer boots and they'll cut yer toes off if yer foot gets under there offroad. :toungincheek

They are not perfect but I wouldn't be without mine.

So that's a no then:confused:

Well, yes.

Look at it. A piece of perspex, cut to shape, with a couple of drilled holes and supplied with P-clips and nuts & bolts, for £20.

You could do it for yourself and nine mates for five quid each, and some tea.

That product is the equivalent of go-faster-stripes to climatic protection.

Wally flaps will be far superior, and better positioned. Mine are an inch away from my toecaps and that's what makes them work. Also they are not rigid, but they do have rigid framing, and are less likely to add to any personal injury should anything untoward take place.

Leave them alone and give your score to someone else. :thumb2
